For those that care Regal is no longer assoicated with Great Oak in St. James.
They are now assoicated with Strong's Marine in Mattituck.

Strongs is an excellent dealership. When I was looking for an express cruiser I went to them. They had a 29 Formula PC (used). They treated me as if I was buying $100,000 boat and not a $30,000. Excellent customer service, pleasure to deal with. Never bought the boat from them, the boat passed seal trial yet failed survey..

Do you know what happened Dave? I bought my 2565 from Great Oak in 2006, had a very good experience.

No idea.
I know Regal requires certain floor planning and perhaps Great Oak didn't want to go in that deep in this economy.
They seem to have all the smaller type boats now, which are probably more affordable to keep on the floor.

So what does Kydds have? They have had Four Winns for YEARS and YEARS

Nothing, called them a few weeks back and when I asked what boats they carry now I was told "None, we sent them all back"

I was also told they will start to carry Four Winns again, starting at the Tobay boat show.

They also use to carry Cruiser Yachts, SIYS now has that boat.

Wow, I cant believe that. I dont see how two dealers are going to carry the same line.. I guess its doable. Thats what the problem was with Strongs when they had Formula. They were so far east that people on Nassau county went to Staten Island or Jersey to buy since it was closer..

I used to work for Kydds way back in the day. Not a fun place to work but respected Dennis. He started with a small lot on Sunrise Highway, then moved to south massapequa, then opened in lindy, and freeport..We all know how those last two locations ended..
