regal info please

I am a new forum member and new to boating, (at least on my own). I am anticipating meeting some very nice and helpful people here. I am sure that I will obtain some great information.

I looked at a boat today and the owner said that it was a 21ft. Regal Sebring with a 175 HP merccruiser engine 4.3 l v6. It has a cuddy cabin.
Looking at various sites, I only see a 195 model for that year and it only came with a 120 or 206 HP engine.

The boat seems to be in good condition and he said that he had the "bellows" replaced as well as a seal on the top end of the engine-- whatever that means.

It is on an ez loader trailer with new tires and he is asking 6200.00. He has owned it for 5 years and just bought a larger boat.

Is that a good deal ? What about the differences in the engine and boat length.

There should be a mfg plate somewhere on the stern of the boat with model # and other info.
Look at the engine, it probably has the size and/or HP stamped on the engine.

Do you have any seasoned boating buddies that can look over this boat with you? Maybe take a test ride with you as well?

Some would suggest having a survey. For that boat and amount of money, I wouldn't, but I do suggest having a good marine mechanic going over the engine and outdrive.
