Reglazing hatches

A while ago there was a thread about replacing Lexan in hatches and someone had posted a link to a place in Fl. that did that, but I can't find it again. Can anyone help? If you know where it is please re post it or PM me. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Ken

How bad is your hatch. My lexan is pretty old, I don't know exactly. The boat is a 1976 slickcraft and I don't know how old the hatch is but I used Flitz on the lexan and it cleaned it up pretty good. Might be worth a try.

It is basically barely translucent due to extensive crazing. Was one of the largest derogatories on the purchase survey several years ago. I'm trying to get her as good as possible, but trying to keep costts down, thought it might be less expensive than replacing the whole hatch.

I agree with trying to keep the cost down. Hatches are very expensive. Try using Flitz and the ball on a cordless drill or mothers as sugested by sugilbert to clean up the lexan. My hatch would barely pass light thru. It is smoke and barely let any light thru. Now I can see shapes thru it and it lets the sun in.
