The nice small remote that came with our onboard stereo (a Sony) has been lost. Probably at the bottom of the lake, in the bilge, or will be found once I purchase a new one.
I miss having it since adjusting the stereo or station now involves continually opening the door to the box it is housed in. But don't want to spend the money they are asking for an OEM replacement. Especially since the odds are high it will be misplaced again.
Has anyone ever been able to get one of the cheap (~$10) universal remotes that work for home audio to also work for car/boat audio?
I checked several sites that sell remote controls. But none list programming codes for mobile audio (car or boat) devices.
