As some of you may have seen from an earlier post when I bought my boat in august the surveyor noticed a one loose screw on the trim tab and told the dealer to put some sealer on the screw and tighten it. Well don't ask me why maybe paranoia but I am unsure if I trust that the dealer used sealant. Should this in anyway be obvious. Anyway I have since bought the boat it was in water for 2 months and is now in winter storage I am thinking that maybe I should remove the screw and add 5200 and retighten for peace of mind. But then my next fear is if the dealer did use 5200 that I don't want to do any damage when removing the screw or braking the head of the screw. What should I do???
