I used clean and wax by 3M and got a yellowish color on the deck of my santigo. Has anybody used 3M restore and clean I'm trying to find an easy way to do this any suggestions would be helpfull

I used 3M heavy duty rubbing compound on mine, then I polished with Buff Magic, finally applying 2 coats of paste wax. The boat shines like it's new. I'll probably apply another coat of wax before launching next saturday.

Dan, if you haven't waxed in awhile the color will be somewhat yellower than it was when you started. The reason is that the white gel coat oxidizes and gets a chalky white color, and the wax gets rid of that and lets the color underneath shine through. Your boat has a bit whiter gel coat than my 1980, which is a lot more pronounced in terms of the yellowy color that comes out after polishing/waxing...

Dan,
I had some stains on my non skid deck and engine cover and tried about everything I could imagine to get them out with NO good results. Having the boat in the Bahamas limits the options on the local boat store so I hit upon this option by hit or miss.
I remembered that our kitchen sink had some stains so we used Cascade diskwashing (liquid) and let it set for awhile...voila clean.
SOOOOOOO being the experimenter that I am I tried a real small spot in an out of the way location and it clean my floor very nicely.
NOW and I repeat NOW this probably will not work for everyone so lets not get carried away and ruin our/your boat and gel coats and fir coats and rain coats.
This is a suggestion on something that worked well for me and it may not work for you or anyone else on planet earth SOOOOOOOO us caution. I did not use this on the exterior of the boat only on the floor...period.
Remember whats good for the goose is not always good for the gander.
Do not wash floors and rinse into the lake or the sea do it while out of the water...PLEASE.
I hope this helps. "Keep em Floatin" Bob

Check out this link on ebay. http://stores.ebay.com/Protech-Presto
If anyone else has used Presto advertised on two guys garage please add your insight. It seems too good to be true and probably works. Read the tech notes carefuly. Sounds like you should do small amounts at a time and NOT in direct sunlight cause it heats up fast and can cure in front of your eyes. Ultimately (I Guess) you would like to apply on a very cloudy day or even better indoors. I would do an indescriminant test spot to see if it will turn into a cluster duck.
I am thinking of trying so please let us know if this works.
