A friend of mine is going to the delta and wants to rent a small boat. I know Paradise Point rents boats, does anyone else. PP only rents for the day and the boat has to be back by 4PM and my friend is staying on the water for three days and wants to keep the boat where he is and not have to take it back everyday.

Thanks

Let us know how your outing goes! Where in the delta will you be staying?

They are going to be staying on a floating cabin at Beacon Harbor and as it worked out, they are renting a boat from The Sugar Barge on Bethel Island and the two are very close. When I go, I take my own boat, Bayliner Trophy, and it sleeps two very comfortable and three in a pinch. We usually hang out on the hook in the north Delta or maybe tie up at Vieira's or B&W's. I really like spending the night on the boat in a remote slough. Night fishing, cigars and good music.....can't beat it.

It sounds like you have the right idea! Sleeping on a boat is the best - something about being that close to nature (and tequila) is pretty hard to beat. Next time you are over by B&W, come on up Georgiana to Oxbow and say hello! I might have some extra cigars...
