not sure about what it's called but I'm referring to the U-shaed fitting on the very front a foot or two down from the gunwale. I assume it's what I use to pull it onto the trailer (bought it last week "in the water" so I haven't pulled it out ever yet). Well, mine's lose and the fiberglass is a bit beat up around it.
How do I fix the fiberglass so it will hold the fitting securely again AND not leak water into the boat?
