I am looking to replace my A/C-reverse cycle heat system this off-season. I was wondering if anyone has recommendations/opinions about installers on the upper Bay.

What brand will you be using ?

I used J. Gordon & co in Annapolis when I replaced my dual cycle units. Their prices were fair and they came to the boat to do all the work. They also have a dock in Annapolis if you want to go to them. Top quality work and they have most units in stock.

Give Marshall Larner a call at 410-263-0054. He is the hands on president of the company.

C Team,

Head over to the Ocean at the end of B Dock and ask for Jay. He is a marine A/C & Refridg tech, very reliable, very affordable and very nearby!!! If Jay's boat isn't there look for Carl on the other Ocean on B Dock and he can get hold of Jay for you. I used to have Jay's phone number but now I can't find it but Rich (the GM at SJC) will have it. Jay works on just about everyone's A/C at SJC.

I do not have any particular brand in mind but want to go with a split system.

Mike, I have heard about Jay on "B" dock. He has not been around for a few weeks and Carl's boat has been gone for about a month.

Thanks everyone!

Someone once told me about Rick Miller in Chestertown. I will have to find his number.

Thanks.

The split system is like the one you would have in your home. The compressor is mounted in one location and the blower/exchanger in mounted in the living area.

Craig,

I may have Jay's phone number at home but I won't be home until Friday evening. (FYI: I'm sitting at the Holiday Inn at Kent Narrows as I type this. Its a beautiful day and I'm headed out to Red Eyes or Harris's shortly!)

Mike,

Sounds like you have it rough! Kent Narrows, Red Eyes, Harris's.....

Actually, after I left the sunset at Red Eyes I walked over to Harris's but it was very, very dead so I wound up at the bar at Annie's. Did a few Yuenglings and the Seafood Festival over talk of baseball and the recent crabbing with a local named Bill.
