Is there anything special I should know?

I've got 2 old Raritan raw water electric toilets (circa 1989) that I'm replacing with Atlantes fresh water flush units.

I was just going to use the same wiring (to the wall switch), the waste hose, and tap the fresh water supply off the sink, and shutoff the raw water supply.

Is there anything else special?

You can use the existing power feed lines, but not the existing wall switch.

The Atlantes comes pre-wired internally for it's own switch. Most of them utilize a flush lever on the side of the toilet bowl. Get either the A8 series with the stainless steel flush lever or the A9 series with the electronic wall switch. Don't let West Marine sell you an A7 unit; you have to lean over and hold the handle the whole time it is flushing. With the A8 and A9, they lock it in for a pre-set timed period (8-16 seconds). You tug on the handle, or press the button, then walk away - just like at home.
