I have tried Teleflex and I have tried Boating supply sites, and I still cannot get an answer for this question. I have the OMC cobra engine and I would like to replace the shifter with a Teleflex Sl-3 side mount control. Can anybody tell me if I need an adapter kit for this, or will it replace the stock OMC shifter?
