Reverse Rotation

I hurt one of my motors on my 3227 over the weekend in Florida. I am now back home in Arizona looking for a new long block to replace the 270 Crusader. Can anyone verify which engine is reverse rotation, I think it is the starboard but I would like to be sure.

Damn, I always get those mixed up. Plus I have Ford engines in my boat so they might be different from yours. Perhaps you'll get better help on the "Engines..." section of BoaterEd???

I would think the serial number for unit would be the key.

I know I can figure it out if I was there but as I said I am in Arizona and the boat is in Florida
