I am certainly no fan/supporter of McNerney, but this Gill kid is a piece of work himself.
He's just a rich kid looking for a political position to make his name. I wouldn't trust him to watch over a stray cat for the weekend.
The Delta tunnels are just one issue (albeit a LARGE one), but I question this kid's motives (and certainly his ability to actually get anything done once in office). He is using the tunnel issue to get support and make headlines, but setting that issue aside, he can do a lot more damage everywhere else.
It's way too easy (and sheeple voters are way too forgiving/forgetful) when voted in politicians quickly change their direction once voted in. They have way too many excuses at their disposal to blame someone/something else for their failure to follow up on an election promise.
I just wish there was another (worthy) candidate to vote for. This is an excellent example of having to vote for the lesser of two evils. [}}:-|>>]
Sadly, our presidential position is another one... [:-yuck]
