Actually, when this forum was started, there was no registration requirement. As a result, we had a number of rather "unusual" people here who, protected by anominity, felt free to offend any and all here. We started requiring registration so that, at a minimum, we'd have "registered offenders." However, being somewhat aware of a certain social stigma attached to that title, we thought it might be wise to shorten that to RO.
