We have all complained about bird poop and spider sh&t at some time or another. Well a friend gave a bottle of some snake oil called Roll Off. He claims he has only seen it in the destin, fl area, but it really works.
I was skeptical.
But it did work. I must say it is the very first product like this that has impressed me.
So here's my question(s):
Has anyone else out there heard of it before?
If you have do you like it?
I'm always worried about long time affects of some of these products. My boat is 18 years old and I consider myself careful about what I use on her finish. I have no idea if this stuff is stripping the wax along with the poop.
I wonder if les would carry it. Destin is a little far for me to swing by to pick up a bottle.
 
It works great, I used it often for years. It's fairly "gentle" on wax but it does remove it. You can dillute also, just depends on what you're cleaning.
 
I agree that it works great, but the word I use is "brutal" - it's a harsh cleaner and wax doesn't stand a chance against it.

Keep it away from canvas and other fabrics too. I don't have proof, but I've always suspected that it's blue dye, soap and bleach in a spray bottle for $14.

I always have trouble searching boatfix for things I am not really familiar with. I'll pass this along to my friend that told me about the stuff.
And thanks for the experienced comments regarding how harsh it can be. I'll be very careful how and how much I use.
 
are we talking about the "spray bottle" or the gallon boat wash, and are they both harsh cleaners? or just the spray bottle?
