We just purchased a new loadright dual axle trailer for our 01 sea ray 245 weekender. The local place we got it from set it up for us. On the front set of rollers not all the roller wheels touch. Is this a problem?!

On each side there are two sets of main leveling arms. On each leveling arm is 4 sets of rollers each with 4 wheels that level off the main roller. On the front main leveling arm, only 2 sets of rollers contact the boat (8 wheels per side) instead of all 16. Is that a problem? Or just the nature of roller trailers?

All the wheels contact in the rear. There are 64 wheels in all and 16 don't contact when the boat is loaded

Thanks!

Just went out and checked the 2450 Lund, ALL 40 rollers are in contact with the Hull. Some Fiberglass boat manufactures don't recommend roller trailers, bunk only. My rollers are directly under the stringers/strakes, it's easy to determine with a riveted aluminum hull. I don't believe you are getting the bang for your buck with not all the rollers being in contact with the hull.

I'd go back to the dealer and ask them to set it up correctly this time.

I was 99% sure that was the case. Just wanted to double check ....

Showed the dealer and he is fixing it

Thanks!!
