I need to run some wires from the back of the boat to the console. I found where the other wires are, but it looks like I need to remove the pads on the port side of the boat to get to the wiring channel.. I have no clue what they are called, but I am sure everyone knows what I am talking about.. Anyway, how do I remove those pads????

Thanks

Not a clue what "pads" you are referring to; but when you do get a path from back to front, do yourself a favor and add a decently strong string to the wires just in case you need to run more wires in the future.

A "rigid" single electricity wire can help maybe to run your wires in the wire channel ....

All good tips about using lead ropes and stiff wire, thanks..
Here's a pic. I am talking about the "pads" around the sink in this pic.

No need to remove those pads. You MIGHT need to remove that speaker, though, just to grab or redirect the snake (You DO have a wire snake, right?). Most of the existing wires are within a tube running from the bilge to the helm. If it's filled, you'll need to follow the route of it.

Thanks guys!! I did finally get it. Yes, I have a snake and ran it from under the console back, actually took out the battery switch door and had a bunch of room to get the wire tied up and out of the way of everything...
