Rust Spots

Hi All
one day when i was drilling some metal inside my boat , i collected all the little metal shavings onto a rag. When i emptied the rag into a garbage bag some of the filings landed on my gelcoat-near the walkaround and also some stuck to the hull. didn't notice them - a week later the saltwater i'm in rusted them to the gelcoat and they don't wash off.
any ideas how to get rid of rust stains on gelcoat ?

Use CLR. The "R" stands for rust. Rinse thoroughly. You may have to rewax the area....

It can be purchased in any grocery or hardware store. It doesn't have to be "marine" which will just cost more!
