John Vozza (rommer) a long-time RO, and good friend of many here, passed away today, after battling cancer for many years. Another one gone too soon.

Awe man, that sucks!
He put up a good fight.

May he rest in peace.

Knew he had cancer, but not to what degree. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and sharing. One of the good guys! He'll be sorely missed.

Wow. Shocked. I knew he was sick but thought he kicked it.

OMG, knew he had health issue but not to that extent.
RIP John!

John was a good man, we chatted a bit and I actually met him when he purchased my thing to keep a tender on the swim platform (Hurley). We talked business a bit and he had a good gig with what he did (Reoccurring Revenue). I was happy when he bought his 48-50C Silverton. Happy he had a few years with that beast. He was a very knowledgeable boater, and shared such. God bless him, and my condolences to his family.

I remember when he came up on the aft deck of Freedom as a result of my kidding. Indeed a good man who could take a joke. Very sad to hear he has passed. If I am not mistaken his S.O. was also battling cancer?

Hopefully she got a pass.

RIP John.

Sorry to hear it, I enjoyed spending time with John on our Hudson River raftups several years back, sad news...

RIP. Terrible disease that knocks the crap out of you and takes too many way too soon.

That's a shame. My condolences to his family and friends.

Sorry to lose another good RO here.

RIP ROMMER
