Sail boat for sale (cheap)

I received this email from a friend. Apparently one of her friends is trying to get rid of their boat. I know nothing about sailboats or the condition of this one. Or what they may be worth for that matter. My friend said they would practically give it away so if anyone is interested here it is:

Hi Ashley,

Thanks for thinking about our boat.

It's called Morgan Out-Island (28 foot), constructed in the mid 1970s, but is basically still fine. It has a wide cabin, which sleeps 6, with galley and head. It comes with main, jib and spinnaker, all in fine condition. The last time we were out, the engine overheated, so probably needs some work with impeller. Interior can use some refurbishing as well. It's kept at Cadle Creek Marina in Edgewater, MD., which charges $1,400/year slip fee. My husband is in hospital now, and I doubt he will be in shape to go out there any time soon, but if your friends wants to take a look, they can go there and talk to Larry, the dock master. He knows we are trying to sell it. Hope this is enough info, but your friends can call me on me, if they have questions.

What kind of price are they looking at? Any pics?

While I can't vouch for the condition of this particular boat, I can tell you from experience that Morgans are virtually bulletproof. I know of a 41 in a yard that blew off the stands over onto its side during Hurricane Francis. It was raised back up and required no repairs.
