Hello all,

I'm in the process of repairing a bulkhead and since the water tank has been removed, it looks like a good time to replace the hose going from my holding tank to the pumpout fitting.

I was reading some time ago about certain brands to watch out for. Which ones are recommended? I'm not lookin for economy. I like the good stuff. :)

Thanks!

BTW, Is there a search feature on this forum? I'm having problem finding it.

SeaLand PVC hose is probably the best you can get.

Pricey but worth it.

I just replaced every hose in the sanitation system with SeaLand. SeaLand is supposed to be the best.

I like the Triton black sanitation hose...I've never seen odor permeate that. SeaLand Odor Safe hose it does, in time, at least mine has

I cant imagine that.. That stuff is so rigid its almost like regular PVC only twice as thick.. I've read everywhere that sealnd is the best.. I hope I read right too cause I also just replaced all my hose with it.

They may have changed since I put mine in...Most boat manufacturers use the S/L Odor Safe as well, and I haven't noticed any newer boats with "the smell"
