Any advice on removing a screen from the sliding glass door assembly in my 1994 Santego 380.

I can get it off the lower track, but there doesn't appear to be enough room to remove it from the upper track. I cannot pull it toward the rear of the boat because it is inside the door and there is not enough room.

Any tricks?

Same deal here on 1985 Carver 3227. Could not get it off so I replaced the screen with door in place. It took alot longer but I was afraid that the door was bending too much while trying to get it off the track

It might not be exactly the same but on the 1990 30 Santego you have to remove the outer glass door then pop up the 2 spring wheels at the bottom of the screen and pull the bottom out toward the cockpit.

Have a 88-3227 had to take outer door and door wall off to get screen out. It was a bit of a chore but doable. However now I'm having a problem with the outer sliding door. The port side of door is dragging, the roller seems to be on the track, but the leveling screw dosen't seem to work. None of which I touched when I took the door off. Anyone have an idea what to do? I'm sure I'll have pull outer door off again?

Like I said, replace screen with door in place. PITA but less screwing around than removing sliding door and frame. ken emigh - Same door as mine, leveling screw may be stripped so you may need to remove and redrill / tap with larger screw. Before that I would to make sure all rollers are on the track and lubed well. Also, you may may want to check the leveling screws on the top as well.

I checked top no rollers or levelers. When I pull out on left side door it seems to roll on track. When its at the closed position the door is out of alignment bottom in, top out. I believe its going to be roller adjustment screws bottom. All I know its a royal pain!!!
