Good day to all: I am looking at a 2002 480 MY .Can any one offer opitions on this boat good or bad. I have heard they are quite noisy due to thru transom exhaust. Other wise good speed,low draft, hard top is nice. No canvas to mess with. All comments welcome Thanks.

I do not know much about your particular model, but Sea Ray went to underwater exhaust a couple of years later. Our 06 48 is very quiet with the underwater exhaust.

Cats or Cummins?
The QMS Cummins are very good engines - the CAT 3196's are also very good as long as they have had the right updates but may make the boat softer at resale- Have both the boat and engines surveyed!
