I have an HH5741 tilt steering helm and the shaft seal is leaking. I ordered the seal kit from boatfix today and should have it next week. I have removed the steering wheel, tilt assy. and the 3 screws that hold the plastic cover over the seal.
Question I have is how hard is it to remove and replace the seal and do I need any special tools? (I'm hoping the kit comes with some instructions but I'm expecting the worst and asking here instead!)
