I am using a 5" Edson mounting bracket to raise my Raymarine radome antenna on the arch. In addition to the four mounting bolts on the 7" diameter base, I'm thinking of using 3M's 5200 for additional bonding and sealing. Is 5200 too agressive for a radar mount? There should be no reason it will ever come off. Or, should I just use a good sealing material?
