hey guys i have a 95 25hp merc mariner the motor has about 40 hours max on it someone did not mix oil with gas. a friend had the boat out for a while and it stalled he restarted it and a minute or two later it stalled and would not crank back up. i just took powerhead apart engine is super clean the pistons show a little scoring but not that much,although the rings look pretty bad, the crank and connecting rods all look good there was no metal shavings of any kind in crank case but the pistons seem to be stuck in sleeves what is the easiest way to remove the pistons not to do any more damage. what do you think my options are to rebuild and what are the steps in doing so thank you beforehand for any and all information and help best regards Eric.
