Sheets of ice on the bay

So I was on my way to go swimming at Gilgo Beach - a Polar Bear Plunge - today, and noticed Hemlock, Garbage cove, and the state boat channel frozen over solid! Even going over Robert Moses causeway you could see huge ice sheets with slots in them from the bridge pilings!

Truly Beautiful! (and F-ing numbingly cold)
