Shhhh I thinks everyone is asleep.

The swim platform is close to the water which is nice for swimming. As far as getting on plane for sure this is not a problem. Just today a boat of similar size was coming up on plane beside me. He had a two to three second lead on me when I pushed the throttles forward. I was on plane before he was. One day we had five adults on the boat and two kids and still planning was not a problem. As far as coming off plane is concerned we do get a little wash up the back but it does no come in the cockpit even in a following sea. The one thing I would say if you you are looking for a 280 is make sure you have the Bravo 3 drives as they are the key to coming on plane quickly.

Thanks Scott. Thanks for the info. I have the B3 on my 2460. I am always amazed at the bite it has and how quickly I get on plane. Equally impressive is how straight the boat tracks. This past Saturday on our last drive of the season on the way to the marina for winter storage, the admiral and I had a conversation as to how well the boat tracked. Perfectly calm conditions and I could literally take my hands off the wheel. The steering wheel never moved and the boat maintained a perfect straight track.

Well, when the time comes, maybe a few more questions, but for now, this is the Regal section!!! :-) and I do love my Regal.

Canada, took my canvas off this morning at 7:00 am as the mechanics were getting ready to do annual maintenance and put it on the rack for its long long winters rest. Only 1:30 pm and I miss her already. Hope those Saturday Pict come soon!!

Scott
