I delivered my boat to a shipyard last Monday afternoon for bottom paint and for replacement of lower unit fluid, went back Tuesday to get the props and take them over to have them trued, while picking up the props I noticed that the cover was pulled back and foot prints where all over the white swim steep and in the cockpit. I just figured that the mechanic jumped up there to check out the engine or turn on the batteries in order to raise the lower unit. Drove by on Wednesday to see what they had done and nothings been done. I called and said that I needed the boat for the weekend (it was only a 2-3 day job) long story short, I snapped the cover in place which the foot prints where still there, I thought it was pretty inconsiderate of a shipyard to make a mess and not to clean it up. Later when I returned to my marina I unsnapped the cover and noticed that the foot print where leading into the cabin, well the cabin door lock was busted and things where throne, around my laptop and Okuma Gold 50wII reel was missing. The shipyard refuses that it happened in there yard. What Should I do!!, go to the yard for the money or forget it with them and count my losses. File a clam with the Inc. comp.
