I was told by a friend that it would be fine to use a shop vac to pump out my waste tank, instead of buying a $500 "Waste Caddy" or having to take her to the pumpout everytime the tank is full.
Is this an effective way to clean my tank out and get all of the waste out? Is it illegal? and Will this work without damaging the shop vac.
I will consider doing this if it is an effective way to pumpout my boat.
Anyone who could help me answer this question will be greatly appreciated.
