I saw a similiar post on another forum and the topic discussed was
"I would never disconnect someone else's electric"
Well here is my situation I have a new slip nieghbor this year. I beleive it is a 351 silverton, he was in the water before me and has both his electric connections taken up both outlets on the dock.
I speak to the marina owner and let him know I will be bringing my boat down and he should contact the owner because he is using my shorepower. The marina owners tells me the guy lives out of state and is just leaving the boat here for use when he visits his sister.
I bring the boat around, disconnect one of the shore power connections and hook up. I then go speak to the owner again letting him know I disconnected one of the silvertons show power. I get the impression he never made a call and comments, well you can get a splitter, they are about $180.
Not sure why I would require a splitter, I have just 1 shore power connection. Anyway, it has been 2 weeks and no one has checked the boat. Should I rotate the 2 shore power connections? Will 1 connection insure the batteries are charged? I want to make sure the 351 does not run into problems but not sure what to do.
