Went down to Lavallette for a couple of days. Nice ride down and back, boat ran great, filled up at $3.75/gallon - that should keep me going until next season. Other than late last night, weather was fantastic!

It's good to hear there is some "reasonably" priced diesel around. Did you go in Manasquan or Barnegat? Throwing the hook at Tice's is Nice's.

We went in through Manasquan. There is some skinny water in that area!

On the way South you betcha, but after a while it sort of grows on you. As long as you are going slow and enjoying the ride it's all good! The canal was a great part of that ride. If you want skinny water go around Fl. on the inside. Wow, did that enlighten us. Almost as bad as the Jersey ICW South of Atlatic City, where skinny is defined.

Wow sounds like my marina? It's amazing the things one can get used to.

Glad you had a nice trip. I was thinking of going somewhere this coming weekend but the weather isn't looking great and I don't know where I would go. I may just spend the weekend at the marina I have the dogs with me now that my son is back in school.

Irene may keep us all at the dock this weekend.

We had Freedom moved inside. 4x the cost! It figures as soon as we did that the path would swing away from Florida.
