For a short weekend has anyone been to Castaways in New Rochelle or Brewers in Glen Cove. Any feed back would be helpful.
Thank You,
Wayne

I used to keep my boat at Brewers Glen Cove.

You can get to the restaurants next door on foot. Not much else nearby to do.

Post on the LICC. I think BToran keeps his boat there.

Take Glen Cove. Castaways is not the right location for you. New Rochelle try Imperial good guys.

I like Capri in Port Washington.
Plenty to do and Louis for dinner.

Port Washington is nicer than both, water taxi, nice harbor to dink around, Louie's is a great place to eat.

Another vote for Port Wash.
Stay at Brewers Capri... nice marina, pool, mega yachts to gawk at... water taxi to town for shopping and great resturants.. Nice harbor to dingy around and check out the nice waterfront houses...

Wayne, other than a smallish pool at Capri, I don't know that there is much else to keep the kids occupied.

Fishing, pool and the dingy will keep the kids busy for a day or 2.

The striper fishing is great right in the harbor and just outside the harbor.

But compared to what's at Glen Cove, Capri has MUCH more to do!

This was my thought. I Also like Norwalk Cove in CT for short weekend trips I go every year. I take a cab to Town you have stores restaurants and the Maritime Center. The beach is a short walk, Mini Golf and great pool.
Just a thought.

Their pool is a joke more like a bathtub, last time I was there they were letting a dog swim in it.

Which place's pool Port Washington or Norwalk? Port Washington pool is small and cold but I still really like the town and Harbor. I enjoy the water taxi to dinner if you have a dink you can kill 1/2 a day exploring.

Norwalk's pool is huge people from out side the marina pay to belong it's very nice, and the beach is a short walk away. Town is a cab ride or a short boat ride to the town dock.

I go to both placing almost every year at least once.

Port Washington has the small pool. Not alot to do with the kids, took a walk to the park with my daughter last time I was there, but not very much else.
