Today is the longest day of the year. Starting tomorrow, the days get shorter and we start losing daylight. In another week, the season is officially half over. Start looking for sales on the pink stuff. Enjoy what's left of the season. It sure seems like it's dragging on.
 
It was a good season, I look forward to 2014. Our winter friends will start calling soon.
 
I better call and get a date to haul out! Where did the time go?
 
It is the long trip to Huntington, FL i took that killed my season! Oh well.. There is always 2014 if we still have our boats.
 
I have my Christmas shopping all finished!!
 
It looks like I get out of boating this weekend. The "great Escape" and I will be parting ways because of illness with my wife. I believe if I was buying a new boat it would be easy; but this is hard on me. Getting back to the topic, my dad would wake up on the the first day of summer and announce that summer is over and winter is on the way days are getting shorter
 
It's time to get the buffer out and take off the remaining Spring wax and put a coat of Fall wax on it. It won't belong till the Winter wax is applied!
