Hauling early this year. The admiral was not paying attention and our new female (who snuck into season before we could get her fixed) is now holding 6 pure bred goldies.....means not too much time for boating. If anyone is interested in a pure bred, I'm not looking for anything outside vet bills (about $300).......they're going to be unbelievably good looking dogs. I just want them to get good homes quick as my kid graduates my almer mater (USMC Boot Camp) in December so I want to get them adopted out before then. Who better than boaters??

6-12 weeks is by far the most vital, impressionable age at which pups can be socialized. Unfortunately, they cannot be safely socialized until they finish their parvo vaccines around 16 weeks. As such, it's preferable for the breeder to keep the pups until at least 8 weeks, though many keep them as long as 10-12, so they can learn important skills from one another and from the mother.
