I put a curse on every boat builder that ever used silicone to caulk windows and hatches! May they be banished to pergatory for an eternity peeling silicone from the windows and hatches they caulked with the crap! *grrrrrrrrrr*

I guess I should be happy they didn't use 3M 5200 or I'd still be out there scrapin' the stuff off the boat!

Yep. The magic material from 40 years ago just hasn't come close to living up
to the promises for bonding, etc.

I'll stick with the old tried and true polysulfides like Life Caulk and 3M 101.
