I've narrowed down my search to these two boats which are very similar. In both cases, I want 2000 or newer. I'm supposed to keep my LOA at 35' so the Silverton 330 would be the better choice(All of 35') where the carver is 36'7".
I like the dinette of the carver better whereas the Silverton has more counter space and shortens the dinette. In fact, I'm concerned over how much sleeping space is on the dinette of the 330.
If push comes to shove, I could probably buy the Carver and deal with the 1.5' at the club. However, I might be prudent, avoid the drama and going with the Silverton 330.
Fit and finish seem to be equal as does the bridge and cockpit layout. Both have a nice fridge and shower stall. Both have similar, easy access to the bow and easy access to the bridge. The carver has the bench on the bow which I like for practical reasons but am not crazy about the look. Again, I favor the dinette/interior layout of the carver.
