silverton fuel tanks

in the next few weeks i will be replacing my gas tanks myself.the boat is an 86 silverton convert.i've got a manufacturer lined up, and he'll make exact duplicates once i remove the old ones.if anyone has done this job on their silverton i'm looking for any helpful hints.i'm going to be removing the rear decks to get the tanks out. while i have done glass projects in the past, i'll be doing the rough work and tank installation, but will most likely have a pro do the finish work.either with paint or gelcoat depending on my budget.any hints would be helpful...thanks bill
