A well known store is having a super sale on this Friday only. I looked for reviews and see only 1. I might consider this if others have had good luck. Otherwise a Lowrance.

I believe it was $300 off on Fri only. But now I do not see the email with the special price. West Marine.

I wouldn't worry about a West Marine "sale" price. Their regular price is $949. $300 off is $649, which is Cabela's normal price (as well as many other online retailers). We don't call them "Worst Marine" for nothin'

I'm a huge Garmin fan but I hear Simrad makes some great stuff.

In the same boat, pun intended. Saw the same ad and I am looking for a whole new Fishfinder/Chartplotter setup. Like lowrance, but what turns me off on Simrad are the transducers. I would love to go in hull or thru hull because of trailer. Transom is last resort. I also like lowrance for the downvision. Ill be watching this thread and report any findings
