Here are a couple of links to videos of my repower which just started 2 1/2 weeks ago

As of today pretty much everything has been removed from the ERs, incl the old plywood floors. They re finishing pulling the stabilizers tomorrow then will finish degreasing (almost 50'years of grease...) and repaint white. By next week, the new stabs should be in and the new Cummins just about ready to go in...

We re planning to painting the hull in January and a bunch of other things Planning to launch early February. Which means March. :)

Good luck and keep us updated. It's a long Winter up here in Vermont. Looking for anything boating!

Been wondering what what was happening

It's Christmas and our boats are sleeping. Lots of new posts in NBR.

Heh! Heh! When I built my mobile crane I expected a 10' vertical clearance would have been tall enuff. As it turns out, I barely had enuff clearance over the rails and barely enuff drop to get the engine on an engine stand...but I was sweating bullets too.

The problem was the added length of chain to double mount both ends of the lifting bar. It makes for a very stable lift but adds an extra 5" less to the overall height.
