The the RPM (Rapid Precision Mesoscale), is calling for a staggering amount of snow on Sunday night: almost thirty inches in New York City.

If this turns out to be correct, society as we know it will crumble.

The wealthiest members-those who can afford to eat out every night-will starve in their stairwells, while those capable of whipping up a Thanksgiving feast from a few packets of Ramen, some sriracha, and a cat that died of "natural causes" will emerge as chieftains; perhaps even gods.

You picked the right winter to give up boating!

I guess now would be a good time to check your bracing for your covers up there.

Lol. No, sometimes if I type things to fast or touch to fast I get a double tap. It is a first generation iPad. The touch screen may be wearing out. Or it may be the latest changes to Chrome. It has been annoying lately no matter what it is.

I'm getting sick of this snow, I'm ready for Spring!
Snow days like this are killing my business.

Forecast was for 15cm to 20cm. this morning. HAH! Close to 40cm down now and still coming...Environment Canada missed it by this much....In Toronto at least.

That's 16" I won't complain but I'm done with Winter it's time for Spring!

Am I missing something?
•Sunday-Cloudy with a chance of late afternoon snow, highs between 27-30 degrees

HVW never predicted a big storm on Sunday, they are all now saying that it might not be too much.

Hiya,
Sorry Rob'. Now let's see, double it and add 32? Nope, that's for a metric 6 pack. 30cm is pretty close to 1'...Soooo 15-20cm forecast would be 6" to 8" and what we got was about 40cm or so which makes it just shy of 16". "Normal" snowfall for Toronto is 8"-10" for the season. Now you might be surprised just how metric you are on the Hudson. Quick what's the size of the engine in your car.....???? litres? Pray for an early spring.

I'm really sorry to hear that the major snow is not going to happen this weekend. I wanted to send my condolences from sunny Florida. Heard its only getting to 82 this weekend so I will bring my sweater.

I feel your pain. We are in the same boat. Went up to the beach on north nest key in florida bay today. My fishfinder said the water was 79.5 degrees. Almost didn't want to jump out of the boat. Didn't want to get chilled.
