Anyone know how much snow I can allow to pile up on my bow before I should be concerned about it? Its on blocks and two stands in back... This stuff is wearing me out already!!

I would knock it off if possible, the stuff we got this week is very heavy. They had a number of roof collapses in New England the other day.

My boats in the water. I have the bridge and cockpit shrinkwrapped. I went out and shoveled the bow yesterday. That snow was real heavy. It was obvious by looking at the boat that the dow was dipping. If at all possible I would get that snow off.

I meant the bow!! But the dow did dip today as well!

I heard this morning that another big storm is coming this wednesday..make it stop!

My daughter loves it and cannot understand the words I use that precede "snow"

As far as snow-load, I was worried also, have a Fisher Canvas cover which does not shed snow like shrink warp. Lost a big pine tree in the back yard and it got me thinking...
Wife has plans this weekend and I am not alowed to go down to the boat, after three glasses of Ballenchin I just don't give a sh!t anymore.
I figure, shes (the boat) is 23 years old, probably been thru worst than this in Her life...I Hope :(

Being stuck in the house recouping let it snow let it snow... hopefuly you guys will be around to entertain me

Yup this snow sucks...

Thursday after rushing to snow blow and shovel our 135' of driveway and walkways to get to work in the city, I was told I could work from home. So while on a conference call, I was standing looking out of my home office window, I felt dizzy, shortness of breath, then passed out flat on my face. 911 and off to LIJ Southside Hospital.

Was not a heart attack, but in all the tests they found a bunch of other things that need immediate correcting that lead up to this. The scariest was finding that I had a TIA(Transient Ischemic Attack) AKA mini stroke on Back Right backside of the brain. It resolved itself, so no damage. This is normally caused by chronic hypertension (high blood pressure) which I have. So the next snow storm that is more than 8-10", I am going to take it slow and a personal day at work.

Brad, sorry to hear it. Hope everything is okay and you'll quickly and fully recover!

Brad,

Sorry to hear as well. Hope you feel better soon.

Brad, take it easy. Get some kids in the neighorhood to shovel the next storm, or give the snowblower to a neighbor to use on your driveway and his. Feel better!

Brad, jumped on here tonight because I saw Marie and Billy at Dave's house and was concerned about you.

Hope everything is fine, I am sure you are scared since your brother had an early unexpected death. Wish you the best Brad.

Walter

Hey Brad! Take it easy and let someone else do the work if you can. Life's too short.......enjoy it now!

Brad, be careful and take care of yourself. Let someone else clear your snow.
