So, what do you all think about Carvers???

Andy:
as with much in life opinion is inversely related to experience.

LOL! Everybody comes over to my boat for the food...

Ern, you are more than welcome to come by when you go see that New York boat. If I'm available I'll gladly go look at it with you! That way you can tell Sibley what a maniac I am in person :) ...

I was very impressed with the Carver 40 something yacht at the AC boat show. It was sitting next to a similarly sized Marquis, and while my buddy and I were waiting in line to see them, we both took a guess at the price tags. I guessed $380K on the Carver and $500K on the Marquis. My guess was high on the Carver, the price was $280K, and I was way low on the Marquis, it was over $650K.

I was impressed with the fit and finish of the Carver, and they made great use of space on the inside. The only thing that surprised me was behind the cabinets in front of the helm - lots of storage (the kids would LOVE to sleep in there, I bet), but it was unfinished and had rough fiberglass exposed.

Good input Bob
I can line some cabinets for 300-400k and probably have some beer money left over. I'm told that's how Pete does it!!!!!

Now Don...how are we supposed to stay in business when you talk like that
...LOL

Considering all the supposedly poor people up on the Rondout Creek, we sure have a lot of beer around. And boats, too...

Must be from some charity somewhere...
