SO......................

Got back from a fun trip to Kismet... Then had a club BBQ which was a great end of the day…

Today’s morning rain was ok… needed to catch some more zzzz’s. Yesterdays wind made docking a challenge.

Been off and on here a few times today.

No boat so worked on the "honey do" list...but too much.

Yeah..........I'm just about done with the " gotta do around the house " list.

Started to install my HD/DVD TV ...in the cockpit on the boat........hope to finish it tomorrow.

Real crappy weather today.................

LOL funny i was saying the same thing this am....( where is everyone )

Brad, got to give u credit... we normally go no matter what the weather kept us dock bound.. well actaully home bound...

nice job sir...

I was working in Oakdale today. No telephone calls, no radio calls and no desire to go out on the boat. A nice quiet day to study.

Boat is still on the hard and weather was yuck so caught up on some quality home time with the Admiral and my pup. Read paper, paid some bills, especially boat, then watched a good movie. All in all, not a bad day.

I went in Saturday. That strong east wind humbled me. Took 3 times to get in my slip with not boat neighbors and no crew. I need to teach gizmo to throw lines!!!

Did a few things on boat Saturday commissioning water, genny, canvas, fridge!

Sunday I checked the lines and worked around house.

My spring prep list is getting down there. Just pool and powerwash deck are left. I hate winter!!!!

Last week Kismet was very busy, not full but ended up meeting many of the regulars…. I am sort of one now myself, at least early and late season. Met one of Don’s neighbors, Mike with DustyAnn now this guy is a regular….

This week was mostly empty, just some locals and ferry takers who were at the INN. We had a group of about 10 come over on my friends 40 Mainship. They only stayed for lunch. So it was just the wife and I left. But had a nice Dinner, as stated before the early Sunday rain kept us down below for extra Zzz’s…. Not so bad.

One highlight was an older guy who we see often at Kismet is a go fast boat builder, his name is John and the boats are called SuperBoats. The one he drives a lot is yellow and white, forget the name. Anyway last year he left Kismet, with a couple of kids and later the news got back that he took a dive in shallow water and broke his neck real bad… Never heard any news since…

Now we are pulling in with about 20-25knot S/E gusts and the place is basically empty with maybe 3-4 fishing boats and one go fast. Then I see this white hair guy hustling around the dock to grab lines… Yup, good ole John or “Titanium Neck” John now… 9:30AM beer in hand with a big smiles. Don’t know the guy real well but was happy to see a survivor such a possible life time tragedy.

Just got the word.........my little Wahoo is gettin wet tomorrow............WAHOOOOOOO !!!!!

I think he means his other "little" wahoo.
Is wife must of finally said yes!!!

it was verbally sold..........no $$$$ exchanged........so I'm keepin it now..........

I thought you bought a new one? So now you have 4 boats?

I went out for a ride Sunday afternoon, pretty much had the whole bay to myself.

I think Don just likes buying and selling stuff :) I've lost track of how many boats he's gone through since I've known him!
