Going down next month with another couple, and it has been a few yrs,,,,so was thinking about the Yachting Center, but didn't know how far of a stroll it was around to the shops and restaurants.
Been up at Hospitality, before but never down further to stay. I don't think things close down after holiday, and it is the week prior to Trawler Fest, so hopefully all will still be in swing. Any other suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

We don't mind the walk so Spring Cove has always been our favorite. If the Yachting Center is the first one into the Harbor, I remember floating docks out front and lots of wake action from the traffic. So if that is the marina, try to get slips in the back where it is quieter. The marina is close into town. Spring Cove is about a 20 minute walk for us.

We stayed at Zahnizers for 2 nights last month. Was great! If you are up fairly early they have bikes that you can sign out to take into town. Rest. on site, very nice pool. and the people are very friendly. Not a bad walk at all.

We've stayed and Zahnizer's, Spring Cove, and most recently Solomons Harbor (at the Holiday Inn). Zahnizer's is still our favorite (for one thing, it's closer to town). But I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

I agree with all of you. Solomons is a great walking town. I am at Beacon which is between Spring Cove and Zan's. We have transit slips as well and tend to be a little less money than all of them.
