We were out cruising around Saturday and it seemed I could not rid myself of exhaust fumes on the bridge. I can see this happening when running slow with a tailwind, but it seemed to occur at higher speeds as well. The only time I got rid of it is when running against the wind.
I have seen exhaust ports (a number of years ago) that appear to turn down into the water and am wondering if those would help.
My fly-bridge canvas was up, the windows were open and the large rear screen was open. The admiral did not seem to have this problem on the back deck and I did not notice it in the cabin.
The only solution may be to close the rear canvas but that really cuts down on the ventilation.
