Hope to have some raft-ups with you & your SPBM transplants this year!!!

Oh Judy,
I am so sorry to read this regarding Butch and Mike. You should have spoken up earlier, as I would have advised you abouth these two. That's the reason I would not stay at the same marina with them! Its just bad news man! LOL.

(This is meant as sarcasm lest anyone thinks differently)

Mike I don't smoke and I don't run my Benny either! I hope I qualify.

Since when? did your Benny die?

I was only joking as to the nickle and dime of PBM I was only responding to Hogan's statement about Haverstraw. I happen to agree with the statement of I don't expect to get things for free if you want to use services you should expect to pay for them. As for being new at Haverstraw I got my start/introduction to boating at Haverstraw in 1980 my parents had their boats there for many years before moving out to the sound. I even worked at the Bayliner dealership when I was 16 so I have been there before and liked it hence I returned. They is no question they are more expensive and frankly that's what kept my away, this said with my current boat having such a deep draft I find it well worth the price. If Haverstraw were to raise their prices then maybe I would feel differently and would consider other options like moving out to the sound.

I think it's great that everyone seems to love there marinas!

I remember that Bayliner dealership. You know Dave I never really thought Haverstraw was all that much more expensive than anywhere else. Nickel and dime for everything yes but not so much for basic services. But it's more of a "resort" kind of place so I would expect the slips to be more. I only saved a few hundred going to PBM, which is certainly nice, but not why I left HM. but I am aware you were just being sarcastic about the cable.

Jeez Bob, I wish I had gone to you for advice before making this move!! Being in the same marina with Butch andMike was not what I expected. It's terrible. Always being offered a drink, offers to go out for dinner, boat rides, raft ups, bbq's, listening to Mike's hysterical CD's on the dock and worst of all, they are always coming over to lend a hand when I need to fix something on my boat. It's awful!! Terrible environment

We due our best to make your life miserable Judy. But then that is the PBM traditiion.

You forgot to mention Gina's mudslides...

Well my impression of them just from BE was bad but i didnt know it was that bad!!! Really feel sorry for you. :-)

Oh yes, it really is that bad!! And how in the world could I forget Gina' mudslides and Alice's Bloody Marys, Warren's fresh seafood bake, Ginny & Mike's multiple marina parties, rides on Steven's go fast...oh my it's just awful over there. I'm going back to HM
they have deep water! ;)

Is it really deep at HM??? Someone should tell my friend Dave, he needs deep water for his boat....

Bill the water is so deep I decided to install sonar so that I can see the bottom this year. At the old place you could see the bottom every low tide!

I'll let you know when I get my know sonar installed. Now I will know if a submarine goes by when I'm at dock, did I mention it's pretty deep there:)

I heard from my brothers girlfriends sisters father that it's not that deep as it once was due to the past storm. It has me thinking again.......

I agree Starry, I won't compromise either if we are down to 15 feet!!! I am going to ask for some refund as I expect at list 19 at low tide!!!
