I never knew it got that low on the south side. They should mark that better so people are aware.

US Gypsum used to dredge a channel from the main shipping channel to their pier so the ore carriers could get in. They dredged every ten years or so to a depth of around 30 feet. If you stay next to the pier all the way out you have plenty of water.

I think I'm fairly safe on the low side at 8 feet. Maybe my next boat will have a problem.

Hank, I didn't know you were looking at sailboats now...

I was going to put a bid in on this one so when I have a good bag on everything can be made right. Perhaps they can work this design in for boats at SPBM?

No. Just a really big boat. Now that I'm in a deep water marina, I can go as big as I want. :)

Hank,
The only issue I foresee with your really big boat is we will never see you out on the water as you will be cleaning it all day. Now that's and issue.

Bob has a point you are always cleaning this one if you go much bigger cleaning will become a full time job.

Haverstraw has a cleaning service. Hank won't have to clean his boat since he moved here.

What you don't get is the would never do a good enough job and he would have to re-clean it anyway. Ben have you ever seen his boat dirty?

Well then I guess it's a good thing you don't know better:)

One of the guys on our dock went to West Marine yesterday and was told by the manager that Wayne was not rebuilding...

And he knows this how? Why are they building docks if they are not rebuilding? If he doesn't so be it the other marinas will be that much more busy and profitable. If Wayne doesn't rebuild I can assure you it's because he found another way to make even more money with the land so I won't feel bad for him:)
