I don't know about first class but atleast it will be deeper than 2' at low tide... That is good news for the ones that have decided to stay.

Both of them! ;)

LOL.. Well atleast there will be enough water should you decide to come up and freeload for a night or two...

That's the only way he can get his money out of them. Hey that gives me an idea.....

Unfortunately I can't come and freeload I mean visit since my new boats beam is to big for the slips there. I guess I can't enjoy the new world class, deep water marina and will have to slum over at Haverstraw if we come up river.

Right now the slips are 100' wide I think you are good. My boat has a 15' beam I have at least another 4-6 feet additional room I loved my old slip!

Nt yet. Waiting for juice to go out. The chances are unlikely as I have now made the investment.

Did you got it after or before the storm?

In addition (which is a sore subject) how many boats left there? Between those who left to Haverstraw and those who totaled! There has to be many open slips, large and small.

Allen I think (and this is just a guess) maybe they won't rebuild the entire marina until there is a need. They had many open slips before the storm and the north dock was really in bad shape and ready to be condemned I don't think there is a need to build nearly as many slips but heck it's not my call. If they only build one section this year and it does well maybe they can build more next year. Who knows maybe it will be a case of "if you build it they will come".

Make a lot of sense Dave. I wish them fast recovery in any case. It is hard enough these days to run a business and then to deal with such devastation must be so much harder. They have to be smart and built gradually as you suggested.

I remember going to SPBM or Willow Cove 15 or 16 years ago when we first got into boating. They put my Wife and I in a golf cart and drove us around showing us where the were going to build the pool and where they wereng to build a club house and so on and so forth.

We told them to give us a call once they were well under way with their building and we would come take a second look. Ended up at HM by the end of that day and never looked back.

I've always been somewhat leary of someone who wants me to join today in order to get amenities in the future.
