I just got an email from an anonymous tipster that if I were to move my boat there I have $10 zillion euros waiting form me.

....I just reread it and it is to move it to Nigeria.
 
Make sure you provide your bank and routing number before you leave. This will ensure the transfer of funds have been completed.

It must be true...I attempted to book a reservation, however was informed they were booked solid, but I am on the wait list!

Funny I say bellow because that's where my sensor is so add another 3+ feet putting it at about 20' at low tide for the Hudson that's amazing!

As for SPBM I think they will only have a few slips that will accommodate 120' yachts so you better hurry and make the reservations.
 
What a total waste of water! Haverstraw should be ashamed of itself. All you need is 5' - what are you, part of the "evil 1%"????
 
The evil 1% are not entitled to the 17 feet as they have not paid their fair share of usage fees.
 
I thought Romney said it was more like 47% and yes I would be among them! I paid my share to be there.

You're right. Haverstraw should send that extra water to SPBM as part of Obama's great transfer of wealth.
 
Seems like this thread is running out of steam. How are we gonna hit 30 pages if the posts are drying up.

Here's a question sure to kick off dozens of pages at least, who is going to SPBM for the first time as their new marina this coming season?

Anyone?
 
I'm not sure about who is going there for the first time but I'm betting Hank will be the first one they launch
 
I was the first one in last spring. I went in around the middle of march because it was so warm. I was out fishing 3/15, the day striper season opens. It may be too cold then this year and the docks may not be all fixed then.

John, I don't think you have any idea on the income streams he has... Trust me, the money spent or "Lost" on SPBM is a drop in the bucket... The place is a write-off for the other business ventures...

Leigh are you thinking of getting another boat or are you still planning on taking a break for a while? There is a real nice 36' in the yard I heard it's for sale:)

You are 100% right on that one. The people in the second floor office over the marina office manage his other business interests. He needs a staff of many to do it. SPBM is a very small part of his empire.
 
Must be why there are new investors in the marina holdings every few years or so. It really is such a great write off. I seem to recall something about a Christmas party someone here was at where even Mrs Wayne was complaining about the large losses but I wasn't there so it's only second hand information.
